Subtle Things Women Love (and are easier than you think)

I know you guys think we take a LOT or work. Well, some of us do.  But the majority of genuine and authentic women really appreciate the little things.  And most of them aren’t monetary.  Here are some of my favorites.

• When you hold our faces to kiss us
• A kiss on the forehead
• A wink
• Looking at us from across the room
• A hand on the small of our backs
• When you properly introduce us as your girlfriend/wife
• When you say “My Laurie” (sure, it implies ownership, which is NOT what I’m saying, just that I’m “yours” in your heart)
• Random “thinking of you” texts
• Complimenting my shoes
• When you express any emotion
• When you validate our feelings
• When you make time for us
• When you plan ahead and include us
• When you buy something little (like under $10) because you thought I’d like it
• When you make coffee
• When you help clean the kitchen or cook together
• Dancing in the kitchen
• Singing cheesy love songs in the car
