Life is short. Why not? Take a risk.
My neighbors upstairs moved out and I was secretly hoping a hot guy would move in. But, perhaps that’s too close. And likely unrealistic.
But I was outside the other day and noticed a new neighbor in my same building had just moved in. Yup, he’s hot. And a “healthy” distance just in case.
I leaped. Went to the grocery and bought some wine. I wasn’t sure what to get until I saw a bottle of Pinot Noir that said “Blank Canvas”. You read between the lines.
I left it with a note at his door: “Welcome to the Neighborhood! Laurie Apt K”
Perhaps an hour later he graciously showed up to thank me. He came inside and we briefly chatted. Asked if I had plans tonight and if he could make me dinner.
Um, duh.
Going there at 7:00.
